A compassionate, energetic & creative group of women that support Art for Healing programs for children and adults suffering from abuse, illness, grief & stress. Our mission is to be Art for Healing Ambassadors, advocating & fund raising for Art & Creativity for Healing in the community.

Scheduled Meetings 2009

Monday, September 28th: 11:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
New Member Fall Luncheon - (location to be decided)

Monday, October 26th: 10:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Holiday Ornament Making - ACFH Studio facilitated by Laurie Zagon
$20 art materials fee (includes four glass balls, paints, and ribbons) (Non-members $50) Extra glass ornaments are available for purchase at $2 per ball

Friday, November 6th: 6:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
Girls Night Out - Held at Sandy Bohi’s Home. Invitations mailed on September 20th
Guild members are asked to bring friends and solicit auction items for the event, as well as volunteering at the event for set up and clean up

Monday, November 30th: 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Christmas Potluck Party (Members to bring Holiday Art Boxes for Camp Pendleton Children) (Location to be announced)

Holiday Art Boxes for Camp Pendleton Marine Base Kids
Please join us at Art & Creativity for Healing Inc. as we seek to provide plastic shoe boxes filled with art supplies to 650 elementary students on Camp Pendleton. Each of these students has a parent who is either deployed or preparing for an upcoming deployment. Your donations will bring the students great joy and comfort.

You are invited to fill a plastic shoe box with art supplies like:

  • markers and colored pencils
  • small journals
  • sketching pencils
  • sketch pads
  • watercolors
  • watercolor pad
  • NO USED ITEMS PLEASE!
